My mom was at the zoo with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew and she got interviewed by a new reporter about the pollen during summer of 2010.

Easter Sunday 2010 Earthquake
Living here in Southern California, we get earthquakes quite often. Probably more then what some people realize.
Most of these earthquakes, you can't feel, and most of the ones you can are not that bad. Most people shake it off as if they had a case of indigestion.
On Easter 2010, there was a 7.2 magnitude quake in Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico. I will not be surprised if you don't know where that is.

Anyway, I was home with the dogs when the earthquake hit. I was eating a bowl of cereal when the entire house shook like crazy.
I have felt shaking from earthquakes before, but this was by far the worst I have experienced.
Unfortunately, I did not reach and grab a video camera at the time, but a friend of mine gave me this link to a video of a security camera from a hotel in Baja, close to where the earthquake hit. Not sure who he knows that had that video, but I saved it and posted it to Youtube.
As you can see from the video, at about 45 seconds into it, is when the quake hits. Just watch the water from the pool.
Some commented that this video is fake, but I can assure you that it is 100% real.

My Dogs watching themselves on Web-cam
My dogs love seeing other dogs on the TV or computer, especially Wiley. She goes crazy, just watch.
In this, she and Stitch are watching themselves in a webcam, so of course they think they are 2 other dogs looking at them.

Fat Albert Night-time JATO Take-off
Dee and I were at the Miramar Air show and I took my camera to shoot some video. Now keep in mind, that this camera is not the best for taking nighttime video of things far away, but I did anyway.
Anyway, Fat Albert is the support aircraft for the Blue Angles. It is a C-130 and has solid rocket boosters used to take off on extremely short runways,called JATO, or Jet Assisted Take Off.
Not sure why they call them Jet Assisted when they are rockets, but hey.
You may have seen this o Youtube at some point, as it was copied and linked to over 100,000 times. Maybe not as popular as some videos but I didn't expect any more then 100.

Revolution Rollercoaster @ Magic Mountain
finally converted some older home movies from my older 8mm camcorder and this was one of the videos I shot back in '98, I think.. It is a little bouncy and jerky but hey it's a rollercoaster. Yeah it's been a while and other coasters have come out since then, I know, but I just thought it would be kind of cool to share the riders experience.
